FAQ”s
"Where do I even start ...?"
If you're super excited but feeling a little lost, we highly recommend you connect with your team captain or any trainer at Valhalla to go over GOAL SETTING. Though it's great to envision your end result, we can help you create a step by step plan to get there. Our trainers are always excited to sit down with you privately to discuss strategies, nutrition plans, counseling and encouragement. We know that if you are willing to put in the work, you will see incredible results!
"What can I do to get ready?"
CLEAN OUT YOUR PANTRY!
Take the weeks following the holidays to finish off those leftovers, clear out the snacks and anything tempting that you have in the house. Say your goodbyes to the junk and start thinking about stocking up on healthy whole ingredients, and create a plan of action. Being prepared from the beginning will set you up on the right foot!
"Do you recommend a specific diet?"
Whatever diet you can stick to is the diet you should adopt. Make a list in your head right now of the stuff you already know you should not be eating. (Most of us already know.) Stop buying that stuff, and start thinking about something you want to add to your daily routine. Set up a 1:1 chat with your trainer or team captain, because everyone has different goals, and we are ready to help create meal plans for you based on those goals.
The KEY is to stay consistent.
"I'm really not comfortable with anyone taking my picture.... Will those photos be kept private?"
Yes, of course! We understand this can be an uncomfortable request, and we will keep ALL statistics, measurements and photos private unless given explicit permission to share for marketing purposes / submission to the national individual contest. Please let our staff know if there is anything that makes you feel uncomfortable and we will work around your requests.
"Should I be logging my food?"
If you have never logged your food before, try it out this week to see what it's like. Without changing your diet at all, you will learn a ton just by tracking what you are eating, and these logs are excellent tools our trainers can use to help you make practical changes that you can stick to.
